Everything breathes

in

and in-between

a transformation occurs
an exchange of air into blood, and blood into air
blood runs between blue and red
chlorophyll runs between green and yellow

i breathe in the tree
the tree breathes in me
living in each other
in each other being

​This work was a collaboration with eco-artist Anne-Marie Culhane, founder of the Fruit Routes art project, creating an edible campus at Loughborough University.
The performance was developed for the 2023 'Breathe' themed conference hosted at the International House as part of the annual Institute of Advanced Studies at the University.
