I attended City Lit when studying for my Art Foundation 2013-2014, within our group was an incredibly talented, spirited and beautiful young woman, who went on to study fine art painting at CSM. Tragically Alex ended her life in August 2016. In memory of Alex, some members of her foundation class have got together to raise awareness and funds for a mental health charity. We will be holding an exhibition of our work, and a public Art auction where money raised will be donated to the charity Maytree. Please do come along to the Mental Wealth Festival at City Lit, where the wider programme will have something for everyone.
